Here at Indy race last year. good looking car!

Early indications in the last few years it a slower than alfa gtv’s and 2002’s in B stock. I don’t think I will be anywhere near a spec Miata times.

Got to get some quicker euro prep 308 cars and drivers over here :)

https://speedhive.mylaps.com/Sessions/5435836 it finished 22nd out of a field of 35. it was behind a pair of corvairs.

    308 gt4 qualified 23rd at 1:51.902

pole position in the run race group was 280ZX 1:40.719 2nd front row bmw 2002 at 1:41.521.

for reference gen1 spec miata 1.6 qualified at 1:41.884. These are the slowest miatas about 130hp and have been taken out of mothballs recently since they are now vintage legal in the heritage class.

hats off to Mr. Vail for a successful race. Im sure it was a treat for race fans to see a vintage 308 fun in the race. I hope more folks in north america would race their 308s like they do in europe.

It would be great to see an all vintage ferrari race series to support the challenge or something like that. Though challenge is sometimes a support for other larger races, too.

yeah that would be fantastic. i used to attend the uk challenge races. the field comprised of mostly gentlemen 308s,328s, mondials ... sprinkle in a few 348/355 challenge cars and testarossas.
