Hello All, I took the car for a long run this morning. Upon returning from my coffee stop the car would not turn over. The battery is new but when I turned the ignition I just got a "clunk" and that was it. After several attempts and more clunking I called for assistance. Of course while they were on their way I tried again and the car fired up. From my limited mechanical prowess I figure it is the starter or solenoid. Any guidance as to where I can send the unit in for rebuild in California or buy a new one? Regards, Sam
Check the parts reference thread; there are better solutions than a rebuild and cheaper than a new "vintage" unit.
