That is pretty steep, but this particular model is not easy to obtain these days.

I've got a red one in 1:43 (I think I bought it from you, GTE, didn't I?) made by Starter... If you could find one of those, it would be more like $100 versus the $300 for the BBR.

I think you got it from Roel (Dino208GT4). I believe also has a yellow one, if not already sold. How do those 308GT4 by Starter compare to the BBR one?

Fujimi will release a 1/24th scale 308GT4 model in June.

Price is a bit on the high side but it is only option in bigger scales.

$358 USD! Yeah - I'd call that a bit on the high side! :)

Ah, you're correct - I did get it from Roel. It's tough to say how they compare... My impression of BBR is very high, but I'm not much of a 1/43 collector. If BBR in 1/43 is akin to Exoto or CMC in 1/18, then I'd say the Starter model is about mid-range....not bottom of the barrel like Bburago or Maisto, but not Minichamps or AutoArt, either.

I recieved an email from Marcel Brossi from karmodels.com. He had two red BBR 308GT4's on sale, for $ 199,99 a piece. I've ordered one myself, so he should have one left. This is a steal for a BBR 308GT4.

Well, maybe that was an understatement, but for a factory built 1/24 scale resin kit that isn't that much more expensive than others.
