Yes, with some machining and a bunch of donor parts it is possible. You would be better off installing larger intake valves and seats on the 2v head and having some port work done.

I was at the Montreal race this year i was so glad that he grabs the 4th place and he would have probably had the 3rd if it was not for the DRS system.

It is my understanding that the cylinder heads of all the various 308 engines are interchangeable ---- meaning that any of the heads will bolt on to any of the blocks. Carbed intake manifolds will fit (with mild adaptation) on the 2-valve, injected heads. However, I'm not sure whether / how much adaptation would be required to get carbed intakes to fit on a 4-valve head --- not sure if anyone has ever tried that combination. Also, using a 4-valve head does require going to the 4-valve-specific exhaust manifolds --- the exhaust ports are different from both, the carbed & injected, heads. And, of course, the weber carbs will not work with the intake manifolds from either of the injected (2-V or 4-V) engines.

How much it cost you to make the job done for your 308 (done at a ferrari dealer?)

Carb manifold won't work on a 4v head. A specific manifold is required. The 2vi heads can accept the 2v carb very easily as they are the same head.

So trying this upgrade of puting the 4-valves on a previous carburated model would be out of price but not impossible if i'm understanding right?

John I stand corrected , but is the oil feed to the heads not in a different location 2V to 4V ?

Hmm. I thought the 2 oil drains on the heads were in the same position. What the heck is different from the 2v and 4v head gaskets. I cannot recall........grrr
