    It's here.
I have a Battery Tender for it and I don't know if the 308 has accessible battery terminal connections, like the 355, or do you have to locate the battery. Can anyone tell me where the battery is in a 77 carburetted 308?

It should be under the spare tire in the front. Covered by a small access panel.

Hey, what are friends for?? I have two cars, so I have two sets!

Pm if you have any other questions. Actually all the manuals have Ferrari Parts numbers and you could assemble a set by ordering thru dealer or memorobilia dealers often have complete sets with pouch.

One set of mine got wet from leak in boot but the new set I got with this car is cherry! Enjoy that puppy, and ask here if you need any thing else.

I'll post from the shop the part #s for the '77 books.

You need the '76 US Version of Owner's manual, then there is a '77 US Update that has EPA info and a great (but impossible to follow) Wiring Diagram of the '77 car.

A follow up from my original reason to find the battery - I removed the spare wheel (still looks brand new) and there was a Battery Tender wiring setup already in there attached to the battery! No need to climb into the wheel storage and try to attach a permanent battery tender harness.

The car only has 12k miles since new so it hasn't been driven much, therefore the previous owner figured out how to make his battery last.

Battery Tenders are really great value at about $45 each. (Griots sell them uner their own label for about $60, but batterytender.com has them for less.) They keep batteries at optimum charge and I've never had a battery go dead on me yet on any car that has a Tender on it.

Design's coming up 30 years old too. Is there anything else from the 70's that still look so good.

    Congrats Alex!

    LOVE the garage.

Why was Ferrari so cheap with the Owner's manual folder? I hate the cloth material. Why not do it in leather?

My '77s are leather. But man, mine are worn! At least the contents were safe.

I read my manual all the time. The isometric drawings are art.

The english is a little iffy, in places.

    So, your valence rebuildable, reaper???

So many cars! So little time!

I have the disease that compells me to buy much more than I sell and I have accumulated quite a bit over the years. I wish I could drive them allas much as they deserve, but I do what I can and the Battery Tender does the rest!
