Great pic. I think a UK 308 meet should be on the cards this year?

 

Vetroresina available at Gallery Brummen. As advertised, it's states that of the 712 glass cars, there are only a few original dry sump delivered from the factory. Is that accurate? Other than the US and AUS cars, I thought that most were dry sump.

I think about half of the VRs were dry sump but I don't have an accurate number.

I wish. The "business" consists of spending way too much restoring a car then not holding on to it long enough to make the right amount of money. Still fun though, but no one is going to be retiring soon unfortunately!

Personnaly, I would say 3/4 of the production with dry sump.
I don't know any other countries than US and Australia with wet sump engine.
If there is, I think number of cars are very very little.

 

Legendary Motors Cars has an episode tonight on the Velocity channel about the 308 Vetroresina.

Watched. They did not know much about "Glass" cars, but did so-so. Car got a value of $250k. Seems it is still for sale at Legendary Motor Cars if you check out the www site.

 

Slightly more modest than the car currently for sale ar Symbolics..

I love it so far - I'm getting the bushing in the firewall changed too now, to hopefully rid the off centre - about a 1/4 turn notchy/stiffness..

 

Carl reckons he tried it, but it loaded up too much in corners. He DOES have spaghetti arms though.

I think I went too far co- ordinating the dealer sticker too - but I'm clearly a fan of that era!

 

I'm currently only running the 6.5" rims but I've just taken delivery of a nice set of the 7.5" Campagnolo wheels.

Havnt decided on a tyre yet....

 

I told you already...there's only one choice

 

I'll certainly go with Xwx just got side tracked because two sizes apparently fit which being no expert, I find confusing.
