    Interesting article (for a change!) in the current issue of Forza magazine regarding the factory-developed "308GTB4" GT racer. The article mentions that the original 3-liter (race modified) engine, built by Ferrari, was replaced at some point with a modded 3.2 engine from a 328. But, nothing more is mentioned about this powerplant.

    I'm curious, does anyone know anything about the origin / history of that engine? Who developed and built it? The article claims nearly 400HP for that unit. Anyone know any details / specs for the modifications? I wonder if this was a CAROBU project?
