Just got the car back from the shop, there was something gooey on the targa top, wasn't there when I dropped the car off, but I was in a hurry when I picked the car up so I didn't mention it to them at the time. Tried to get the stuff off the top when I got home and it came off all right, along with the black finish (ARGGGGHHHH!!!!). Any suggestions to redye or condition the top ? I know griots has some bumper and trim reconditioner, has anyone tried that before ? Any other suggestions ?? Thanks
I wouldn't mind having new vinyl installed on my top. I have a couple of scratches. So any advise would be appreciated!

There was a thread on here about a company that was going to make new GTS targa tops.... They are going to be tinted glass..... If this happens, I think I will just mothball my original one and use the new one... Does anyone remeber the name of the company that was planning on oding this.... I might have to go back through my archive. Anyway, I am surprised that someone doesn't reproduce the original targa tops already.... Most of them have gotten pretty beaten up over the years...

I don't think any company name was mentioned at the time. The only thing that was stated was they should be offered for sale some time during spring of 2007. We'll just have to wait and see.
