I have installed the CIS system rebuilt by CIS Flowtech, but I am still having fuel delivery issues. I will reach out to Larry today, but wondered if anyone here has any ideas. The previous owner had the system rebuilt, and it has been sitting in a box for ~1 year until now.

I have replaced everything fuel related. New fuel lines top to bottom, new fuel pump, new accumulator, new fuel filter, and new injectors/bushings. With the system energized and the safety switch removed, the pump works great. I measure 90 psi at the outlet of the WUR, and I get fuel dripping from the other end of the line on top of the fuel head. My adapter does not fit for me to measure input pressure on top of the head (I can barely get a wrench on that banjo bolt). Despite the input pressure, I have zero pressure to the injectors. If I remove one of the lines going to the injectors, I can see gas in the fuel distributor head, and it will well up a bit and maybe even overflow if I leave the fuel pump running for a few minutes, but I get no pressure. I reconnected the fuel line at the head and removed one from an injector just to confirm- not a drip at the injector. I have good pressure/resistance on the air flow plate, and it moves quite freely.

Any ideas? I followed the recommended procedure of connecting the fuel input line to the overflow line and let the pump run for over an hour so it would run through the filter and back into the tank instead of going straight into the CIS, but it still seems like something is blocked in that fuel distributor head.

Double check the two larger lines coming from the tank and pump. They may be reversed.one is pressure the other drain back to the right side tank .

I've triple checked the plumbing. I had hoped that was the problem. Everything is correct.

On a related note, I believe my thermo-time switch is bad. I have no voltage when the starter motor is not running, and I get 0.5 volts with the starter motor engaged. Same for the WUR. I have not removed the cold-start injector to ensure that it isn't spraying gas (all this went down after the kids were in bed last night so I didn't have an extra set of hands).

I know this will cause an issue cold-starting, but it shouldn't affect flow to the injectors to this degree should it?

Well damn. Apparently I'm not as smart as I thought. After talking with Larry, you nailed it. The input and outflow lines are reversed. Now to get home, fix that problem and see what happens!

Not the first time that has been the case. Another member had the same issue and resolution a few months back.

    She lives!!

Running a little rich. Won't start with the safety switch connected (although it did the first few times), idles at 3000 with it disconnected, dies when you connect it. But I drove her down the driveway and around the block. And it was glorious!

Thanks for the quick help today, too. I don't know why I had it backwards in my head. But I genuinely thought I had it right.

    Cheers!
