Can the 308 GTSI heads be changed to make the engine a GTSI QV? Or are the differences in the engines more than just the heads?

    Thanks

The 2-valve and 4-valve 308 heads are not interchangeable.

Plus, a separate set of complete 4V heads (with cams & valves) is expensive --- almost $3-4K when they rarely become available --- almost half as much an entire 4V engine / trans ! Why that is, I have no idea. But, you can find a good used 4V powerplant for around $6-7K. Then you get all the other benefits / improvements of the 4V unit for not very much more money :)

I'm in the process of swapping a complete 328 powerplant into my 2V GTSi :)
