Hello everyone, Anyone know which years had a Hall effect ignition pickup fitted as OEM? I'm also looking for OEM part numbers for the distributor head, rotor and coils for this setup. Any help much appreciated. Cheers.
Based on the SNs given in this SPC figure (which also has the PNs for you): http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=676&A=1&B=39855&S= I would guess that it was introduced sometime in 1978 so there are probably 1978, 1979, and 1980 carbed 308 with it (although "model year" is a bit vague in your part of the world during that timeframe). Also, the first OM describing the system is 155/78 indicating a 1978 date of publication.
