already sent you a pm but since it might also be of help to others,
    here you go ;)

after you attach your image, hover your mouse over what you just attached
now you have to find the attachment I.D. of your image (the numbers between the "attachmentid=" and the "&" in the attachment address)
by mousing over the file name of the attached file in the "Attached Files" box...

let`s say, the attachment id is for example 1234567
so, what you put in between the tags, would be without the *

the cool thing is, that if you upload several pics at the same time, you will find that their IDs (the numbers between "attachmentid=" and the "&")
are in numerical order, so if the first pic has an ID of let`s say 1234567, then the next one will be 1234568 and so on

so you only have to copy the very first picture ID to you clipboard -
you then paste this number from your clipboard into the tag,
and for all the following tags, you simply have to change the last number of the picture ID manualy

saves a lot of copy and past time !

    Michael

Thanks a lot Michael. I have archived your solution this time.
    A test post worked perfectly.
And now I try it with showing the results with different color LEDs.

    Green:

    Blue:

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yellow: ( for Steven (piezo) so far )

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have dimmed - except the yellow - the LEDs a bit with special bulb paint in green or blue. If it's not bright enough for anyone, it's easily removable with paint thinner or nail polish. None of this hurts the LEDs or circuit board.
I thought that way it's easier for you, to make the LEDs brighter with removal of that bulb paint, than dimming them with something you do not have handy.

    Best Regards
    Martin

    IMO green is correct.

It matches to original intent, and blue is further towards the end of the visible light spectrum...

Hmm... a little bit bulky. Not?
I have this. A perfectly fitting flathead is included.
But any screwdriver, that's short enough will work.

And one more hint. It's FAR easier to undo this screw while not sitting in the seat but kneeling outside the car and lean over the seat with the handbrake fully engaged.
Because it would be easier that way to see the slot of the screw.

+1 on it being easier to kneel in and work on it.

    Hello together,

just to keep you updated. Silence doesn't mean laziness :)
Half of the orders is finished, though I'm slower than I thought.
But.... a small delay is, that my magnifier lamp went south last night and I have to order a new one now. Repair is not worth it and a flicker-free modern LED device was on my wishlist since a long time.

    Best Regards
    Martin

Thanks for the update Martin! Really looking forward to these, especially since my existing filament bulb tends to get quite hot, which is always a bit concerning. ;)

    Cheers!

Wow! I had no idea there was a light there. I have to see if mine is working. I remember saying to myself last time while driving at night that it seemed dark in that area. I'm sure it's out. I would want one as well in green which I guess is closest to stock.
I'm going to climb up on my lift now and take a look.

    Hello together,

    ten days evening work.
Will begin packing tomorrow and send invoice details via PM to those who haven't got them yet.

I did test each board over 6hrs. permanent operation at a 12V voltage source via parallel circuit of six at the same time.
Scrapped two boards and one batch of ten LEDs which were immediately faulty. Anyway not bad.

While waiting for Martin's upgrade I found the bulbs available on Tom Vails website for $5 apiece. Grabbed 2 for myself to stash away, they'll be worth thousands😉😅

    All,

Massive apologies for the quality of this photo, but here is a view of what the mounting looks like from underneath.

What I did was to hold a mirror under the handbrake and then illuminate the underside... with my third hand I took the photo. Unfortunately, I could not get the blasted thing to focus properly, hence the poor quality...

The screw is furthest from the handle.

Hope that this helps us all to see what we will be up against in disassembly.

    Best,

    John.

Interesting to learn, that it also sits in the 308GT4 dashboard. Obviously even twice for both sides above the switches. Can a GT4 owner confirm this?

    Hello together,

the first batch is almost completely packed and shipped. The last few I will process tomorrow. Since there is carnival time over here, what's significantly important in my region and means closed shops and post office on Tuesday (and a lot of drunken folks on the streets), I will ship all lights on Ash Wednesday.

When they are shipped, everyone will get a PM or e-Mail with the registered letter ID.

I still have to investigate, whether the same light would be appropriate for the GT4 dashboard switches illumination.

    Best Regards
    Martin

    Hello together,

like announced in my previous post, I have just shipped all the lights this morning, you have ordered and sent me funds.
I have sent an individual message with the registered letter ID to everyone via the e-mail-address registered with PayPal.
    I hope, I haven't forgotten anyone.
If anyone of you has ordered from me and got no such message, please let me know asap.

Thanks once more for your great response and interest in my little project.

    Best Regards
    Martin
