I tried a bunch of searches here and via Google, but can't seem to find an answer.

In order to clean up the female threads of the hose fitting hole in the LH end of the RH cylinder head I need to know the thread size/form so I can use the correct tap. PN of the fitting is 106227 and parts sources show it as a nominal 16mm diameter, but is it tapered? Did Ferrari typically use BSP or BSPT threads in these applications? NPT? Some Italian standard?

I like simple. I already have a 3/8 NPT tap, and it appeared temptingly close in dimension. Thanks!

Ferrari used metric taper threads, yeah not a common thing. They exist but as Crall pointed out, switch for NPT to make it easier and simpler.
