I've removed the horn push and one of the terminals on the cable is broken. There's no sign of the broken piece. Does the cable go through the hole in the wheel boss? Mark Yes, that ground wire goes through that hole and is soldered behind that copper sleeve which is part of the commutator ring (turn signal ring). Your connector has broken off and is most likely still attached behind that copper sleeve. Taking off the ring is not hard but be careful, you can break the plastic tabs which hold it into place. I should have a pic somewhere when I had to re-solder mine.
