Where can you get replacements for the Digiplex Marelli ignition modules? Does anyone rebuild these? I have a 308 GTSi Euro model with Digiplex MED 802A modules. Thanks!

Remember seeing a rebuilder mentioned a few years ago.
Search the old fchat Tech Q&A, and old fchat Tech Q&A Archives (they're different!) test for 'rebuild' and 'digiplex' or 'Marelli '.

They're pretty simple electrically, so s/b easy to rebuild as long as reason they failed wasnt that they were sitting in water with the power on. That'll pretty well destroy any electronics beyond repair.

As to why rebuild, they aren't exactly pocket change...

I am replacing the Dinoplex on my BB512i with an MSD 6AL and adding an MSD SS Blaster coil and a set of Magnecore spark plug wires. All that together is less than 1/2 of the cost of a replacement Dinoplex alone! I am having the MSD mounted inside an old Dinoplex module so my car will still look stock.
