    Hello all,

This is my first posting to the forum.

My '82 308 runs great and is without problems, apart from 2 which both pertain to the lights, but seem unrelate so I\ll post in different messages.

The first problem is the light switch.

It fuctions fine, but feels somewhat loose in operation. Sometimes when parked, the lights pop up by themselves, resulting in a dead battery when I get to the garage ready for my 'fix'.
The lights open and close correctly, although sometimes 'winking' is observed.

Any suggestions to cure highly appreciated!

    Jack.

Winking can be the relay contacts

As for the switch you need to take a look in the 308 section at all the stalk threads

Winking is often related to the diode on the window motor, either a bad diode, or bad connection to it. It's been written up several times, w/pix on 1 or 2 of the threads. Several of the writeups are in the 'old ferrarrichat'. Search for 'window motor' and 'diode'.
