308 / Mondial TRX wheels --- Interchangeable???

    Does anyone know whether the Mondial TRX rims will fit on the 308 (that is, the 308's that came with TRX wheels)? Both wheels were the same 390mm diameter, and I know the Mondial's were 180mm wide while the 308's were only 165mm wide. But, what about the bolt patterns and offsets???

    The bolt pattern (5 x 108) and hub hole diameter (67 mm) are the same, but the offset is very different -- and the difference is so great that you'd need a bolt-on adapter set (e.g., a Hill Eng Type II spacer set) rather than a simple bolt-thru spacer set with longer lug bolts (e.g., Hil Eng Type I spacer set).

    So bottom line is that Mondial-on-308 is doable, but a lot of expense, and 308-on-Mondial is not really doable (wheels would stick way out).
