    Somebody posted a hand drawing they made of the internal layout of a 308 muffler.

    Can you help me find it? I've used the search engine(s) to no avail....

    Did you scroll down the page? 2 or 3 posts down looks just like my stock 308 muffler.

    I can't recall anyone posting a 308 muffler cutaway (either a drawing or a photo), but someone was kind enough to once post this '85 328 euro silencer cutaway drawing. A stock 308 silencer has to be the same construction -- i.e., some arrangement of tubes & baffles interconnected inside the outer volume. Although that perforated inlet to the tube holding the tailpipes sure looks small to me total area-wise (but the position of the perforations matches the usual reported flow asymmetry IIRC).
