Hey I could use some help, I’ve been doing some restoration on my car the last couple months, I put in a new carpet kit, removed the AC, removing the radio, upgraded to coil overs and swapping to euro bumpers.

while removing the AC and radio I accidentally pulled the ignition key wires, I did manage to put those back in correctly and was able to start the car (that was a couple weeks ago). I just changed the oil and installed the coil overs and now the car doesn’t start.
    It does turn over
I tried adding a battery starter thing the battery was weak but that didnt get it to crank

What I have noticed is there’s a loud buzzing coming from the fuel pump area and even after I stop cranking I hear it a long with a couple lights on the dash are very dimly lit. As I tried to figure out why this was happening I noticed when I tap the brake pedal both the buzzing and the lights shut off. That part concerns me

what I don’t understand is the car started not to long ago and nothing has really changed since I started last but something seems strange

The fuel pump buzzing is normal, sounds like you may have a dead/dying battery. Have you removed it and had it checked? Does the engine turn over when you are trying to start it?

Okay so I tracked it down thanks to some previous threads, the buzzing comes from the blue sensor on the fuel system, it was plugged in but I had not re assembled my trunk yet and so the electronics were not grounded. Therefore that Denise was not reading causing the fuel pump to stay on improperly. Once I secured the electronics, the buzzing went away along with the dimly lit lights and the car started immediately.
