    Does anyone have thier OEM tools with "FERRARI" printed on the colored screwdriver and plier handles? Last weekend at the Pasadena show, Larry O'Rourke's (PERFECT) 328 GTB setup included these. He said they were original. They looked great too. But, did they come with 308's in any year?

    I've also seen two brands of the wrenches out there. What is the deal with them?

    you can get a new set of tools in bag or roll @ www.specializedpartsplanet.com doug has them they are oem from ferrari but new in the box and ferrari stamped on them and yes this the same doug that work at ferraripartsexchange that no one there is saying where he is (lyle Tanner)doug just got me a new ashtray cup for my 308 and I've asking lyle for the past year for one so there's better service and parts at parts planet call doug @916-638-5111,or steve

    I have not seen Ferrari on screw drivers even when they are "original." I have never seen Ferrari on wrenches. I have seen Ferrari on the plyers.

    Italian tools leave something to be desired. I keep them for originality sake, in the cabinet, in the garage. For actual emergency road work, a set of Craftsman tool is what I have. For actual garage work, a tool chest of Craftsman, Snap On, and others are what I rely on.

    Bob - there's many threads with photos you could look up since you seem so desperate for an answer

    My recollection is the 'Ferrari' came in the 80's and was not on the 70's tools but I don't know when the change happened - its possible there isn't even an exact answer

    Yes Jimmie,

    I've been doing searches, finding plenty of posts on the matter but nothing conclusive was evident. I guess that's the answer then. Tools types & markings were (are) all over the place.

    Nothing says Ferrari.

    Wreches all say Ferrari on one side. No other tools say Ferrari.

    FYI....I understand that Ferrari's present choice of tool (for both street car kits and their F1 crews) are made by Beta in Italy. They have a pretty nice website and their prices aren't outrageous either....comparable to German Hazet or Stahlwille....which means less $ than Snap-on or MAC and equal or better quality. As a former Mercedes-Benz mechanic for 9 years I can attest to that statement. ;)

    Here are the tools from my '82 308 #40969. The screwdrivers have no markings. The wrenches all have "Chrom Vanadium KRAVM." The pliers state "Ferrari" on one side and "KRAVM" on the other side. I've owned the car for 21 years and the tools came with the car so I'm pretty sure they're correct.
