    Very, very, very cool.

I have dreamed for decades about driving up the ice road (not in the Ferrari!) on the Mackenzie River to Tuktoyaktuk but have never done it. I don't know why.

I am Totally amazed and in disbelief . I would think the first 200 miles on that gravel road would destroy the alternator-and the accessories drive belts, headlights and the entire front of the car—Not to mention the starter and fuel pump—- I’m happy if my 308 makes it to the gas station and back— I had a 308 Gtsi and the reliability is not for the faint of heart— this guy has essentially gone over Niagara’s falls in a barrel and lived to tell it — I will rethink everything I thought about the fragility of my Ferrari—paradigm shift!

Humm … I recently put 705 hard backwoods miles on my QV and didn’t think much about it. The car ran great (… although I do carry AAA 200 mile radius towing insurance). The only thing that broke was my dipstick.
