I finally finished installing my MaxJax 2 post lift. Where are good lift points?

Using the jacking points will cause the car to be unstable and rock backwards (heavy engine in back.) I have tried placing the rear arms at the frame members further back, but the car still seems like it's unstable.

The safe jack stand points (red/pink areas) by the wheels are what I use when using a lift with arms. These points are covered with sheet metal, so be sure you are on the frame when lifting. I also use 2x4 pieces about 4-5 inches long between the car frame and the lift arm.

    Thanks,

Those are the points I'm on now, I'll keep lifting and see if it falls off...

    Chris,

Was your car in Chicago about 8-10 years ago??

I don't think so. It was California then Arizona AFAIK.
Could there be another Oro Chiaro 308 with white leather out there?

I didn't catch the white leather.

Somewhere I have pics of an Oro Chiaro 308 I initially considered around 2008/2009. I don't recall what interior color it was. If I can find those pics I could see.

I just know the Oro Chiaro is not very common so wondered if it might havw been the same car.

Reason I ask is because it looks just like my friends Rex 79 308 who bought it Brand new and still own it today.

It's the coolest color I have ever seen on a 308.
I'm not sure everywhere this car has travelled, but I always figured if it wasn't cruising the Sunset Strip in 1980, the only place it would have fit in would have been Studio 54.

    Separated at birth.
We'll have to get them together sometime. That is, after I finish the ever expanding while you're in there list.
