Hey I hope someone does the buy it now, That makes my 79 carb more valuable.
There may have only been that many 85 Euro coupes sold that year.
That's how the muscle car boys always do it. Thay talk year and sold with those options or package.

They are also not that well informed...the list the engine as a 3.2L.

You're absolutely right! I always hear things like "rare" when talking about tri-five Bel Airs or big block Impalas -- all which are not rare by any means. I remember when my '99 Corvette was wrecked in Tropical Storm Allison in Houston. I figured out by production records (by percentages) that my '99 Sebring Silver Convertible with 6spd, active handling, Z51 suspension and base seats was probably only 1 of 3 -- but they made (if memory serves) almost 13,000 convertibles that year!

Sarge, check again. It is not a euro. It is a US version with the front bumper recessed. Check the mirrors....they are the big US ones.

i think the 1 of 748 he is referring to is the number of QV GTBs produced. tough to find, i looked for one for a while but came up empty. this car is definitely not a euro car.

Not a Euro, for sure. Front turn signals, grille, no lights in the grille, mirrors, gages are all U.S. That exhaust diaper with the rear euro bumper is more hideous than ever! Why did they not remove it????? What's with the red airbox?? Some tools are missing. Otherwise, a pretty car.

Definately a US car, # 57645 sold new to owner in Tulsa Ok.

    Incorect Alpine radio.

air box painted red and plenum over painted.

There were a total of 748 GTB's produced
674 were RHD and 74 were LHD

It seems to be a very well kept car though.

You can see that the bumpers have been pushed in. Typical pratice is to drill a hole in the bumper shocks and let the gas out and then push them in. This gives the car the Euro look. However, doing so on the rear makes the heat vent shield over the exhaust cover protrude. Making it look rather nasty.

I think it would look better with the rear bumper left "out". Although, that would make it an inaccurate pseudo-Euro!? I kind of like the red air filter box.

Actually looks like they put Euro bumpers on both ends. That rear looks just plain goofy that way though.

Nope, that is a US front bumper.... just recessed. If it had the clear lights beside the amber ones on the bumper, then it would be a Euro bumper.

no fog lights either. Should be all red with no black inserts if I recall?

Looks to be a USA car.

Nope it's a euro bumper. You are right about the lenses but they are interchangeable. If you look at the pics below you can see where the two center "bumps" on the bottom of the bumper are not there. See where the missing sections of grill are? That's where the bumps would normally line up.

I suspect they replaced the bumper but just used the original turn signals.

It is a US car, we were talking about the bumper being US or Euro.
