Joe, Where is the "timer module p/n 111736" (the small black plastic enclosure) located on the car ? Don't know if mine is bad or not, but I can't seem to find mine. Thanks
My car is a 78 GTS, USA model The modules are under a metal panel that make up the passenger footrest. If you notice, the footrest area on the passenger side is much shorter. The rug has snaps which reveal six (?) screws which hold in the panel. The screws were tough to remove on mine. Once removed, the modules are right there, secured by bolts.
Oh , I see, thanks. Yes, I've been inside the passenger footwell compartment (behind that panel). My car is an '81 US spec, and they must have done away with whatever that box does, because mine does not have it --- just the red one. So, it must have some something to do with the earlier cars emission setup then I suppose ?
