The "slow down" warning light pops on for a second or two when I lift off the gas to shift (and when warming up), even when the motor's cold. Sensor
    I hope?

Mine was intermittant too. When I went to look at the module, I found the tempature sensor wire crimped under the inspection cover to the module. I streightened the wire out carefully, positioned it where it belonged, closed the cover, and haven't had a problem since.

Hope yours is that easy too.

My USA version owners manual states that it is normal for the slow down lights to occasionally come on and off during decceleration.

Hey it's not the card, or the 35 cent stamp, it's the thought that counts.

Thanks for remembering, and the help with the car! (got any spare parts?)

I found some .22c stamps the other day.......said 'what the heck' and pasted two on there! I need to clean my files more often....

Happy belated B day then, on the Slow Down light thread!

    I don't think I'd buy a Ferrari with a slow down light..it just seems unnatural somehow......LOL!

Although maybe the Enzo should have one, that somehow measures driver self control.........

I have a 308 GTS QV Euro model . . . . where is this exhaust temp warning light? I don't see it anywhere in my manual. I want to make sure I am not missing something.

    Thanks

You don't have any. It's only on cars with catalytic converters ( i.e. US cars).
