I have a 1983 308 Qv and as all 308's it had a heat problem in the cockpit even with all the vents closed and the heat turned off. I know this topic has been on here for sometime.. But I found a fix for my car... What I found is that even though the heater control valves were closed they were still letting a small amount of hot water to pass..The heater valve should close bubble tight and these did not. I changed them with an after market type ( had to do some remodeling to fit) but now NO HEAT PROBLEM. Thanks to Mr. Enzo the 308 power windows are very slow... Here is what I found on my car. I removed the motor and gear boxes from the doors. I changed the grease (and yes is was hard).. and rebuilt the motors. after installing the motors I mearsured the voltage at the motor and found it to be about 6-8 volts. Not good...being that it is a 12 VDC motor @ like 11 amps suppling only 6-8 volts i would draw about 15 amps. but what I did was I used conductive grease on all the connections and also in the switch... (yes take apart the switch sand the contacts with 2000 grit sand paper and apply conductive grease SMALL AMOUNT). Now the voltage is 11.8 VDC on the motors and now the windows are quicker than my 2006 BMW. I know all cars have different problems but this is what worked on mine.
