    The constant interior fan on my 84 Mondial QV is not running, the heater / A/C fan will not work and the heating / cooling push buttons do not engage the clutch on the a/c compressor. I have checked the fuse. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

    My guess is a short in the fuse/relay circuitry. If it's not a bad fuse or relay, then the next weakest spot, unfortunately, is the panel. Is that the only circuit that doesn't work? The solder melts on one and then shorts another unrelated circuit.

    Relays. Would agree as likely.

    This may sound silly, but I now consider the relays in my car to have a life expectancy, and am replacing them all before they crap out; Use the Bosch part numbers in the Owners Manual and call NAPA - they are inexpensive.

    It was the relay. Iswapped it out for the horn relay which is the same part and it worked. Thanks for your help.
