308 QV wheels just painted and.....finish correct?

Just got my wheels back - blasted and dow 7 treated from PTI industries in Conn.
They look good - so far
I have a good paint shop lined up but I have one important question.
The aluminum wheel inserts had to be pressed out as the Dow 7 process will EAT aluminum.
I asked the paint show whether they wanted the inserts pressed back in befor or after paint.
As I suspected they said after the paint as this makes it easy on them.
I would like opinions on the risk of messing up the paint job by doing it after the paint.

Any experience will be greatly appreciated!!
