    I have a 1984 308 GTSi QV, the driver's window fuse keeps on blowing if the engine is running and I try to operate the window. If the engine is switched off but the key is on, then the window mechanism operates without blowing the fuse. What could cause that??

    Pull the window switch and unplug the wires from it and see if it’s still happen.

    Poltergeists! Seriously, I'd vote for some weird "modifications" at the fuseblock -- do the wires attached to the bottom and top of that fuse still exactly match what's shown on your OM schematic or has something been added?
