Saw this on eBay awhile back. Seller claims to have one to fit each rear.
Is this a Ferrari part? If so what year car(s) did it go on?
    Ferrari Part number?
If it is a Ferrari 308 part, does it help?
Are they worth $195 each? This was the B-I-N price
This part does not show up in my 308 QV parts CD

    Bob,

Berlinetta Motorcars offers ground effect side skirts with NACA rear brake ducts. Maybe the ones you saw on eBay were part of that package.

    Barry,

I've sent multiple questions to the seller asking about these issues but so far no responses. It has been relisted again so it appears no one's biting.

BTW - How are those License plate clips working out?

Bob, those are for cat 308s to keep them cool.

Would putting them on my non-cat car help the braking any?

BTW - I do not track my car.

The brackets are great, Bob! Thanks again!

There are no air ducts to the rear brake calipers on my 1976 GTB, just the ducting to the air box and oil cooler.

I don't believe they will help with cooling the brakes. They face inward where the cats/muffler is.

I cant post a picture cause I'm on a handheld phone.

I've got a '78 GTS with both cats and no such duct work. If these are indeed a Ferrari part, it might be from the Italian only 208 turbo. I think these had additional NACA ducts just ahead of the rear wheels similar to a Boxer.

OK, I'm finally home from another exciting day at the pizza shop and i can post the picture of the part Bob is asking about.

As you can see, they are made to direct airflow to the cats. I'm assuming maybe all the 80-82 308s have them?

Man oh man, that picture was taken back on 10/07 when i was getting ready to pull the motor. I'm so embarrassed

Hey Pizzaman, a dirty car is a car that is driven (or I guess it could be an abused and neglected car too ;)).

That's interesting. I've never seen those. Where do they draw air in from?

Cat coolers, as the car is moving air from underneath is forced into the ducts. I had a set on my aussie 82 2V GTBi, i took them off so my new muffler would fit nice and snug all they do now is collect dust in my garage. Hey chris wats the go with your 308 where are you with it??????
