Where can one find those little "body clips/wiring harness clamp" that hold the license plate wiring power supply harness (right side) and the ground strap (left side) onto the rear deck's pivot plates?

I've exhausted myself looking through my parts manual and Ferrari UK's site, they aren't listed...or if so, where?

I've owned my car a year and a half now, and ever since I bought it (from a dealer I'll politely not mention) I thought the zip-tie on the left and the blob of never curing black putty that the license plate power plug is shoved into (and falls out of when hot) didn't look right.

At various club gatherings, I discovered what is supposed to be there...the
seemingly unobtainium clips. The dealer's answer where I purchased the car, "oh, they come with zip ties,"..."and a non-curing putty to shove the license plate's wiring plug into I ask?"...'deer in the headlights' response.

The local dealer is very helpful, they just can't find where to get them. As if they don't occasionally fall off during deck lid removal for service?...Hmmm.

My kid's Plymouth Horizon has similiar clips under its hood, but the part of the clip with the gripping "teeth" is too deep. The F-car clips have a shallow "grip shelf" if you will. Any sources or ideas :) PeterB.

i have gotten clips such as these from hardware / auto parts stores, Home Depot even carries some sizes. if you want EXACTLY what came on there then my info may not be of any help. most body shops that do a lot of business have bins of this stuff, they may be able to match some up for you. good luck.

    Hi Peter,
    T. Rutlands may be able to find a couple in their bone yard.

I'll take a look the ones on my car and see if "The Flying Aluminum Tube Company" might have a similar replacement.

The wiring for my license plate lights is actually fished inside the deck lid. Anf of course the wire is broken and I have no idea how to snake a new one through there!

    Peter,
I took a look at my clip and it appears to be a specialty item because of it's configuration. At work we would call this a roto bin item and it would not show up on the drawing but simply called out in the parts list only, much like a bolt or screw.

Take a digital picture of the clip and it's location and send it via email to T.Rutlands or Ferrari UK.

T.Rutlands may have a used one and Fof UK might have some new ones as they are one of the best suppliers of NOS/OEM.

There is a guy in Arizona named Butch Hooper that does body mods and I hear has a bone yard of sorts. Maybe somebody can provide his site address for you.
