    I need to replace the rear hatch release handle that is on the drivers door jamb (body side obviously). Do I need to release the cable from the latch(es) so I can pull the handle out? If not, what is the correct method?

    Check with Verell, he replicates the plastic cup, and sends excellent instructions on the installation....

    Just don't lose the cable back into the quarter panel, and do it all with the engine lid open.....

    Messing with the latches makes me so nervous I almost want to remove some tail lights, before starting!!!
