Here's sort of an odd question that I've noticed. Just an observation, but excluding the QV's from 83 to 85, what year 308 Ferrari's had the rear vent in the back trunk lid that connected? I see some models just have the two vents, and them some have a third vent that connects both the sides. Is this a model year difference, some sort of option, US versus Euro car? What's the deal?

It's a euro vs us thing. The additional vents were due to the additions of cats on the us cars

    Are you sure?

Cats were added in 1978, the rear cross vent louver didn't appear 'till 81 or maybe even with the first QV????...I think it is related to the QV restyling, rather than the cats specifically.......

1978 and on. The 1975-1977 cars just had the two vents on either side of the bulge. And as Heir Butt pointed out the carb. Euro cars all had the non connected style as well.

Blue one belongs to Lady Valeria and Amanda....

Scott and I have the yellow one!

Good to see this huge market rebound on off colors though, I knew this 'red thing' was just a fad, and it'd be over when the F1 team tanked..........;)

If I ever get a glass car it will be a Euro dry sump. If I'm going to pay a premium, I might as well go all out!

Did you see the $35,000 - 65k mile '77 GTS on ferrariads is still for sale, and $7,000 cheaper now!

    yep.

They had it for a few months too. They shuttled it between San Diego and the sister store in Silicon Valley.

Ignition was a mess. A lot of PO "inhancements", Paint was spider cracking.

Well, those factors are to be expected, I had to redo ignition and carbs immediately on my yellow one.

And a trip to shop to paint and seal cracks, that's just S.O.P. for a '76 or '77 car man, check your calendar, there ladies are getting OLD!!!!!!!!
