Mounting flange profile "looks" similar but take heed.

I am a Fiat / Lancia background person. I thought the same thing for the Marelli starters for the Fiat / Lancia twin cam engines when I built my 308QV. They shared the same motor and the mounting flange looked to even be the same casting, and the drive gear was even the same, but when I tried to mate and install the starter, the hole pattern of the mounting bolt holes were not of the same allignment of the 308. One would fit but the other 2 were about 1/4" off. It wasn't worth the time or trouble to weld up the holes in the flange and redrill the holes.

I'd be very cautious regarding a similar looking tractor starter. The nose length may be and probably is different, the diameter of the flange boss that goes into the bellhousing, as well as the drive gear (tooth count, pitch, diameter and width) let alone the bolt hole pattern, may all be quite different. The physical size of the unit may just make it incompatable, as you really can't tell that from the picture compared to the OEM Ferrari part.

Looks like A $150 gamble with bad odds. IMO

IIRC, the earlier starters were Bosch, so I wouldn't think the Luca would fit. Another Bosch may work if you swapped the end housing to the old one. Not sure on the interchangabiity there though.
The solenoid from a '70's VW bus works great on the Ferrari starter, and is a lot cheaper. I didn't have a chance to check the motor itself though
