308 stering rack

thanks everyone the rear a arms are out and waiting for the new bushings. meanwhile, next project: the slight clunk in the rack. pulled the cover off the bottom last year with the front endup on blocks and looked up. removal of the rack looks like a horrible job. so, has anyone done a swap in the driveway flat on their back? if so tell me how bad it was and can it really be done without the car up on a lift? thanks jon s.
