Does anyone happen to have, know, or can measure the outer diameter and inner diameter of the clutch throw out bearing for the 308?

    Thanks again guys!

Jeff it would have been much easier for you to let us know what your overall objective is. Also to know what dimensions you want instead of playing 1 component at a time. I took out my pressure plate which has a new disk and throw out bearing to get the measurements you were looking for. I had everything on the bench and put it all away sealing it up and re-tapeing the box. Wish I would have know what you needed before I sealed up the box.

It's a State secret.... If I tell you, I'd have to kill you. ;^P

actually..... knowing the overall objective wouldn't alter the needed dimensions for the individual components. 1 project, but a few pieces. I am designing parts to adapt and interface and by my methodolgy design / modify 1 piece at a time. When I start with another part, I find I need additional dimensions of another part in the chain.

I metioned somewhere in a previous post about adapting a Tilton clutch assembly to a 308QV I'm building up. I needed firstly to compare the height of the two to calculate the thickeness of an adapter and the depth of cut on the flywheel to use the standard throw out bearing. Now I need to know the diameters as mentioned above to see if I can tack weld the adapter to the standard throw out bearing, or machine a housing for it to be press fitted within.

The QV I have sitting on a palet was obtained without a transmission. The transmission I have found to mate the engine to was supplied with out a clutch, pressure plate or throw out bearing. I have a flywheel and a Tilton Carbon-Carbon triple plate clutch asseble on hand.... so I need the dimensions asked for to put the whole shebang together and function.
