    It is a concern but I need to know what the ECU will do. I would like 4 O2 sensors and the ECU I'm trying to build is designed to handle 12 thermocouples.....if it gets done and working.

    I will know during the tuning that everything is ok with plug reads and whatever ecu I use will have cylinder trim available.....but that would tell me if something changes later like O2 or TC would.

    The fittings are easy to add so I'm going to wait for now until the plan is more clear I guess.

    I decided to stay on the heads until the machine work is done so I'm not bounceing between jobs. I knew you guys were missing the days of me making piles of chips out of REALLY expensive ferrari castings.....plus I knew Pete would be upset with me if I left all the aluminum on there adding weight and not doing anything ;)

    Today I cut the intake mounting flanges off of the first head. Tomorrow I'll do the other then start cutting out the tops of the ports. I'm going to build the TB adapters right on to the head instead of trying to use a manifold. It think it will save weight and work.

    There's no money for new camera's left after buying ferrari parts ;)

    To all...
    The lack of pictures as of late is getting frustrating, and I'm willing to bet I am not alone.
    This situation needs a fix.
    How about we all pitch in and get Mark a new camera as an early Christmas present?

    In keeping with the spirit of this project, "used" would probably work just fine also.

    I have a Sony Cybershot 5 megapixel I would donate that takes great pics, but the rear LCD screen doesn't work so it's kind of awkward.

    Maybe someone else has an extra camera that is better? (Preferrably one that takes great close up shots...)

    Let's hear some ideas and solutions!

    It's best that he uses Lana's camera.

    If Fchat got him one, he'd take it apart and make it into something else...like a working C3PO or something.

    Only one i have hanging around is a Sony cameras that takes the floopy. Doesn't do real hi rez and i think you only get like 20 pictures or so per floppy.

    I do have another camera....it just doesn't take very good pictures. Lana's camera spoiled me.

    I don't think anyone plans to sell a project when they're building it and I certainly am not planning to sell. My plan is to keep the 308 and build a boat, I was thinking about a 30's hotrod and I may do that, but I've wanted to build a wooden boat for some time and right now I'm thinking a wooden boat wigth a hotrodded 30s V12......but who knows what tomorrow will bring.

    Naw....he'll just supercharge it. Then it won't matter what he does to the ports cause the air will get crammed in anyway. Can you say 1200/hp?

    I thinking a flat head Lincoln V12 in a 19-20 foot mahogany inboard ski boat configured to look a lot like 30s/40s a 2 cockpit runabout. It would need at least 300hp to be a good ski boat so it might need a supercharger to get there ……..or the same engine in a CF hotrod Lincoln autocross car...... but either way that’s still a couple years away from starting it looks like.
