I had previously searched this topic before, but I guess I didn't book mark it as I can't find it anymore. I'm wondering, what are the differences in disc size between 308s and 328s? Did the 308s ever use a a 4 piston brake? If so, when did they switch over to the 2 piston units? Thanks a lot.

308/328 never used a four piston unit. Only 2. The rotors are different sizes on the 308 QV's and then again on the 328. The rear set having the most difference with rotor diameter

Caliper design is different as well. I believe the 328s have a pad-wear sensor?

So there are different variations among models then? If you have the actual disc sizes, could you share the information please? Thanks a lot.

I will have to measure the rotors that I have in the shelf. I will try to get back to you tomorrow on this.

That is correct, which is at least partly why the 328 pads are 50%-100% more expensive compared to a 308.

All 308 discs are the same, and the same discs are also on Mondial 8. Mondial QV are the same as 328, (but 308 i/QV are the same as 308 carb/gt4 etc)

328 use SINGLE piston floating calipers all round, and they work very well.
