I don't think there is any difference between the two models

That would be a good thing, Dr. T -- since he "fitted" a 328 today successfully. All he'll have to do now is size up a GTB vs. GTS, then

    According to R+T's 1986 Comparison:

    308 GTS 1983:
    Headroom -- 35.5in
    Seat width -- 19in
    Seatback adjustment- 30 deg

    328: HR 34.5, SW 18, SBA 30 deg

    And for giggles:
    Interior noise at Idle/1st gear max/constant 30/50/70
    308: 73dBA/83/74/77/80
    328: 69/88/74/76/77

I think what these cars lack in headroom, they make it up with legroom. With my seat all the way back I can't push the clutch in. I'm 5' 11"

I'm 6'1" ... with the top on and the seat all the way back, I can't either.

I am 5'8" and my 308 fits me perfectly without the seat all the way back.

I figure that makes me just about the perfect sized Italian (although I have no Italian heritage)

Ever check the stats on Ferrari F1 drivers? Most are about 5'4"-5'9" tall! Perhaps there is a link to minimal headroom in our Ferraris. How tall was Enzo?

the 328 cockpit feels noticeable smaller. narrower, with maybe a little less depth to the footwells.
