Very few cars look as good with the stock oem wheels as the 308. It's an iconic part of the car's design.
It's your car, do as you please, but I can't point you to any available wheels that look better than stock.

Have you ever owned, and used, a car with the BBS split rims? Those little bolt heads are a ***** to clean around as are the zillion little open spoke areas! Another plus for the stock wheels IMO -- relatively easy to clean -- I bought a set of 16" 308QV wheels shortly after this picture was taken:

the 308 is an iconic, uncluttered, elegantly functional design. So, whatever wheel you pick you want to be compatable. Not something flashy, with a lot of dress-up bling that will detract from the overall style. Personally the only one I would consider would be maybe the coffin spoke replicas but they aren't easy to come by, There are a few others that I don't know the names of that mimic the 288 GTO style that work too (for me)

Of course everyone has their own sense of taste and it is your car....

Here are the standard OEM wheels on the Prugna and period correct aftermarket wheels by HRE model 505 on the black car. They're both 85 US 308 QV.
