How can I tell if I have OEM Cromodora wheels or repo's that came of an 84 308 16x7 16x8 TRX tires still mounted.

    Thanks
    Jeff

Not specific to the 308, but for vintage Ferraris, all Cromodora wheels have "Cromodora" cast on the inside of the wheel.

Don't follow your post here -- a TRX tire can't be mounted on a Ferrari 16" wheel. If TRX tires are mounted, they are probably 390mm wheels.

A stock 8x16 wheel has a different form than the reproduction 8x16 wheel (the reproduction 8x16 has the same form as the front 7x16; whereas, the stock 8x16 is different than the front 7x16)

You have some very strange wheels if they suit 16 in TRX tires !!

There usually are little casting references on the back of the wheels which have been shown & described in the 308 section (at a guess more than once....)

Sorry My bad I was using the 16inch in a generic sense. I believe they are 390mm with Michelin TRX tires mounted, I will have to dig them out of storage to get more accurate info on them. They were the original wheels and tires from my 1985 qv Mondial.
