    This forum is great!
    I'm a new 308 owner.
    Where do you access the manual window crank, and can you crank it up with something else if you don't have the specialized tool?
    My pass. side window is in the down position and won't go up. I'd like to get it up manually for now so I don't get any rain in the car.

    There should be a small circle plug on the door that is under the open door handle on the inside. Remove the plug and you will see it.

    do a search. there is a thread on how to make a crank. someone here sells really nice ones.

    Welcome to the forum and if your first post is asking how to get it up, you're in trouble! ;)

    Yes, you need the tool because it does two things at once. One part pushes in on the disengaging "clutch" in the mechanism and the other part turns. You have to push in really hard on the crank to get it to work. There is a guy here on Fchat that ran off a nice batch of reproduction cranks. Do a search and you will find it.
