    Last fall when I put away my 81 308 my wiper motors worked great. Last week I took it out and tried to use the windshield wipers and there was nothing. The fuse looked good. Is this a common problem linked to the fuse box and another reason to get the birdmans fuse box or another problem.

    I would definately get Birdman's fuse block. That will do a lot towards chasing down the bad connection in you wiper circuit. Check your switches next. They likely have some corrosion in them. The last place to check is the motors themselves.

    The fuse block will help out with your windows and other electrical items too.

    First thing to do is clean the switch with some contact cleaner, switch it back and forth several times and see if it starts working. Then put in the fuseblocks!!

    It's a little known fact it helps to lube the shafts every so often where they come thru the metal....

    Not the cause of your problem most likely but can definately prolong motor/fuse life......

    I'd definately make it part of your storage ritual in the Fall..
