I just finished rebuilding the front end of my 79 gt4. I think I may have put the light pod frames in the wrong side of the car..... but I am not sure, I can't get the lights properly spaced.

There is an adjustable stop bolt with a rubber stop in each light pod frame.

Can one of you please switch on your headlights and tell me should the adjustable stop be on wing side of the car or towards the centre of the car (i.e pod motor mechanism side)

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

The stops on my well preserve car are indeed on the inside/ toward the center of the car as the other poster's illustration suggests.

Tom, you have to take photos _before_ you take the car apart :)

Given that I am Irish...... I should have anticipated Murphy's Law :)
