    Everyone,

I'm multi-posting this to get the most advice I can.

I'm a newbie and found a car I'm interested in (see post: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114909)

The guy is in the NY Metro, listed by JMS Motors (says he's been in the market for 25 +/- years, I think his name is Joe Scialo). Price on the car is $37K, non-negotiable. He's rebuilt the engine, tranny, etc. Lots of upgrades.

Anyone in the NY area have experience with this guy?

Feel free to reply on-list or send directly to me at JINDENVERDTC AT AOL DOT COM.

    Thanks for any advice,
    James in Denver

That is ridiculous money for that model in any shape. It is a low 20k car max in primo shape. Plus the color change only hurts the value not helps it. Look for another one. Remember, just because someone has 37k into a car , does not make it worth 37k.

James...I have a GT4 and JMS does the service on it. I have used them for many years, and they do a lot of high end work and total restorations. They are honest and reliable. Joe has a GT4 that is a track car, so he knows the car inside and out. The car in question is beautiful. If you are looking for a car, go see it. If you are looking for an investment, don't.
