    Hi,

    Can someone tell me if the series 2 nose badge fits in a depression, or is it flat on the nose metal?
    the series 1 Dino badge fits in a depression, and I have seen series 2 badges with no depression.

    So what should it be?

    Good question....They are shown both ways in Bluemel's book....

    #14582 (Dec. 1978) does not have a depression for the nose badge.

    I have pictures of 136 Series 2 cars, both euro and US. None of them have the front prancing horse badge fitted into a depression.

    I thought he was talking about the DINO badge....the book shows it both ways....never seen the Cavallino badge in a depression. Always flush mounted.

    I thought the Series 2 cars were all badged as Ferraris by the factory?
