    Hi guys.
    Looking for some help please.
Could someone post or email me photos of the wiper stalk and switch from a GT4? I think it is the same as on a maserati Khamsin ( yes I know this is a ferrari thread! lol) It may be very difficult to photograph but needing to check if it's the same one as my cars is broken and Verrel from this forum thinks he can make/sup[ply one for me
Both cars made by Bertone so a strong chance they are identical?
If anyone has a tech spec or manufacturer etc that would be very usefull
    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

If you click on the my garage link in my profile, there are a couple photos of the interior of my car. Hopefully, will be what you need.

The GT4 wasn't made by Bertone, but designed by Bertone. It was made by Ferrari/Scaglietti. That said, it seems a bunch of parts specified by or preferred by Bertone definately did stay on the production car.

Thankfully I haven't had my column apart so no pics from me.

The GT4 seems rare and parts seem expensive and then every now and then someone shows up on FChat with an even more rare/unusual/expensive car hoping that our parts will fit. I guess it helps keep it all in perspective!

thanks for that but I need something a bit more detailed and closer in.

Whilst the cars were designed by Bertone they did use quite a lot of common bits. Eg door handles and boot release from the X1/9 etc

Will post when I find the answer!

meantime happy for any help or guidance

These are pictures of the switches used on Ferraris from the late '60s thru the 328 series. Two basic switches were used:

    1) A white bodied switch (with stalk bend, length, & chrome or dull silver finish, twist are petal headlight knob variations) was used on the late '60s ferraris such as the 330s, Daytona, early Dinos, & several others.

    2) A black bodied Vitalloni V245 series switch that with minor variations (V245a, V245b, & V245c), dull silver or black stalks was used from the later 265 Dinos thru the 328, including the Mondials.

There were model specific variations, mostly knobs, or stalk bends.

I have molds for replacing knobs & pivot ends on headlight, turn indicator, and wiper stalks for these switches, and can also make complete wiper or turn indicator stalks.

The last picture is a close-up of a switch used on several Maseratis, with varying stalk lengths & petal knobs like the white bodied switch. I have molds for repairing some of the stalks for this switch style.

That's an early Vitaloni V745 series switch with the silver stalks. It was used on the 246, GT4, & carb'd 308s.

BTW, my earlier post should have said 'V745' not 'V245'(my bad).

While the black stalk version of this switch is now back in production, the silver stalk version is very rare.

Once again thanks for posting these, but I can only see two pics.
I will ask the garage to have another look at the column switch next week. I would simply prefer something that works and would sacrifice originality. The repair in mine put the switch under the dash which isnt convenient in Scotland as we get rain well constantly! lol
Would any other of these switches fit onto a Maserati steering column?
