308i ignition failure - thanks

the 81 gtsi back bank ignition disappeared last night; fortunately i was real close to my mother-in-laws garage because the car did not run real well on 4 cylinders. before i went to bed i ran a search on the web site and found the thread started by matteo on this problem. needless to say everything i needed to know had been discussed by you guys. after reading that discussion and looking at the wiring diagram trouble shooting the problem was a relatively painless procedure including putting new ground straps on the ecu's. it was no surprise that the mag pickup for the back banks was open circuit. this car is my first ferrari and this forum has made it possible to maintain the car on my own with minimal pain. i really appreciate the effort you guys put into helping all of us who depend on this site. thanks, jon s.
