Anyone know where to get a QV flywheel , good quality and price ?

the one in my car looks after-market from what I'm told so maybe there is a place in Oz that does these ?

Geez mate, you're getting hammered on that QV. How come you had it that far apart to notice that?

getting the rear oil seal changed so getting to see some dodgy repairs that have been done in the past !!!

One of the 6 high tensile bolts that hold the flywheel on was out of a Toyota and was not high tensile !!

The flywheel has many deep cracks in it and the reason the rear oil seal leaked was due to how it was put in. Marc Jones said he has never seen anything so bad before, the seal looks to have been put in with a nail punch !! and was bent and dented !!

Clutch and transfer gears are ok but all the seals and bearings look knackered so now is the time to change it. Marc works on a lot of QVs and 308s after working for McLeans for many years so it's nice to know someone good is continuing to work on the car.

I need this car to be tip top for the Tassie run this year if I'm going to even have a slight chance against Giovanni or you :D

I'll even photocopy some tread on a set of slicks if I have to :D

Oh dear, how depressing. If Millard bought that sled he was looking at you will need turbocharging and zero will to live to take out FTD!

Hoosiers don't like too many heat cycles. They can go hard as concrete with some usable tread depth left.

Not many "heat" cycles on this set - you may recall there wasn't much heat around when I ran them :(
Besides, they are the new ones (R3S04's)and they tell me they are much better in this respect.
