    In the midst of doing the major and I want to replace ALL hoses (except maybe the A/C lines). The coolant pipe and fuel tank interconnect hoses are small pieces which are easily aquired individiually, so to speak.

    But in going through the engine compartment, looks like there are maybe 3 different diameter braided rubber hoses (for oil and fuel vapor handling). In the rear passenger wheel well alone, there's got to be 6-8 thin diameter hoses going into the fuel tank.

    I want to buy a length or spool of each diameter of these hoses and just cut what I need as I replace the hoses one at a time (rather than buying 20 some odd pre-cut to length hoses).

    Anyone approach this in this manner? I'm looking for an idea of how much length to buy in each diameter - 10', 15', etc.?

    Might want to ask Dave Helms at Scuderia Rampante about bulk purchases. My QV hoses were bought from him pre-cut, but all were of perfect sizes (he's measured everything multiple times, then adds a few millimeters for ease of installation).

    I forgot who it was but there was somebody else selling kits of pre-cut hoses. And, he also breaks it up. Have not seen his listing lately.

    Think it was "desire308" but I believe he no longer supplies the kits.

    But I wasn't asking for pre-cut, I was looking for lengths that I would cut myself, not that it matters much. But with lengths, if I wanted to run the hose in a slightly different path, I would have the option to.

    Phil there is a place in Florida that sells the cloth braided hose by the foot. I can't recall the company but I'll keep digging.
